Stephanie Kerzner is an associate in our Advocacy Group. Stephanie has a broad corporate and commercial litigation practice and offers experience in a variety of areas including securities litigation, shareholder disputes and remedies, contract disputes, franchise litigation, and intellectual property matters. Before joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Stephanie summered and articled with the firm.

Stephanie is a graduate of Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law where she received the William D. Outhit Prize in Administrative Law, and was nominated for Schulich’s international Smith Shield Moot competition. At law school, Stephanie worked as a research assistant to Professor Jamie Baxter and participated in Pro Bono Students Canada drafting a policy proposal aimed at developing a comprehensive Greenbelt and Open Space Plan for the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Prior to law school, Stephanie graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Community Design degree in Environmental Planning from Dalhousie University. Throughout her degree, she was on the Dean’s List and received a number of awards and scholarships for academic excellence. After graduation, she worked for a real estate developer conducting pre-construction feasibility and due-diligence analysis.
