Randall Blom is an associate in our Business Law Group. His practice focuses on general corporate and commercial law and securities transactions with particular expertise in the mining sector. He offers experience in offering securities and reporting in the United States under the Multijurisdictional Disclosure System (MJDS).
Before joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Randall served as legal counsel at a mining company specializing in the production of gold and silver. He also advised junior mining companies at a boutique securities firm, and worked with the e-Discovery department of a large national accounting firm.
Randall completed his LL.M. in Energy and Infrastructure Law at Osgoode Hall after obtaining his LL.B. & B.C.L. degrees from McGill University. During law school, Randall was a student senator, served as Senior Editor of the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law & Policy, and spent a semester at Leiden University in the Netherlands. He also articled with a Toronto-based corporate law firm and holds a certificate in Public-Private Partnerships from Osgoode Hall.
Before attending law school, Randall obtained a M.A. degree in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St. Andrews.
