Matthew Nied* is a partner in the Vancouver office with a broad practice in litigation and restructuring & insolvency.
Matthew's litigation practice includes a broad range of business and corporate matters such as shareholder disputes, securities litigation, commercial real estate disputes, contractual disputes and tort claims, including misrepresentation, fraud and defamation. Matthew’s restructuring & insolvency practice includes commercial restructuring, receiverships and bankruptcy proceedings.
Matthew has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia as well as before the British Columbia Securities Commission. He also has significant experience with arbitration and meditation.
Matthew practised at another national firm prior to joining Cassels Brock and clerked for several judges of the Supreme Court of British Columbia prior to commencing practice.
